Roseburg Police jailed a man for violation of a no contact order and for unlawful entry into a motor vehicle early Saturday.

An RPD report said just after 12:00 a.m. a victim called in to say that the suspect had entered her vehicle without permission while she was sleeping at Stewart Park in the 2000 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. There was a valid no contact order in place prohibiting the man from contacting her. Officers arrived on the scene and detained the man, who was now outside the vehicle. The no contact order was confirmed and the man was placed into custody. He was detained without bail.
