November 20, 2025 11:00 a.m.

Troopers with Oregon State Police responded to a four-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 on Wednesday night.

An OSP report said shortly after 6:00 p.m. the driver of a sedan was headed northbound near milepost 131, approximately two miles north of Winchester. The vehicle was unable to stop in time as traffic was slowing and rear-ended a second vehicle that was in front of it, which in turn contacted a third vehicle. That vehicle struck a fourth vehicle.

The owner of the second vehicle called for their own tow. All other vehicles were able to be driven away from the scene. There were no injuries and no damage to state property. The OSP report does not indicate if any citations were issued.
