Roseburg Police jailed two people for alleged disorderly conduct on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 5:00 p.m. officers responded to a disturbance near the theater in the 1700 block of Northwest Hughwood Avene. Multiple callers reported that a man and a woman were screaming and throwing trash into the road.

Officers contacted a 33-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman who had allegedly thrown a large amount of trash into the road, causing a traffic hazard. The man was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and offensive littering. He was detained on $3,750 bail. The woman was held for an offensive littering charge. Bail was set at $1,000.
