A Riddle man was jailed for a restraining order violation on Tuesday night.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said just before 7:30 p.m. a deputy received a report that the 38-year-old was on property he is restrained from being on in the 3000 block of Canyonville-Riddle Road in south county. Records confirmed that the suspect had an active restraining order.

The man was located inside a trailer on the property. He was allegedly agitated, refused to come outside, and threw a bag of chips out the door. The man eventually agreed to come out of the trailer and was taken into custody. He was transported to corrections. Bail was set at $5,000.
