In the KQEN Business Spotlight:

Tractor Supply Company is adding a third store in Douglas County.

A TSC spokesperson told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that a store in Roseburg is set to open in March. It will be at 1350 Northeast Stephens Street, in the North Roseburg Plaza, where Big Lots was located, before closing in January.

The store is one of eighteen former Big Lots stores spread around several states that are all being turned into Tractor Supply stores, in a corporate acquisition. The spokesperson said these locations offer the ideal footprint, feature favorable lease terms and are strategically positioned in existing and adjacent trade areas to serve the essential needs of farmers, livestock and pet owners, ranchers, part-time and hobby farmers, gardeners, tradesmen and others.

By the end of 2026, Tractor Supply plans to have twenty stores in Oregon, with nine of them being new locations. The existing Douglas County TSC stores are in Sutherlin and Myrtle Creek. As of September, the company operated 2,364 Tractor Supply stores in 49 states.

A soft opening is planned for mid-March of next year, with the grand opening taking place late in the month. The new TSC location will provide about 15 new jobs to the area, with at least half of those being full-time positions. Anyone interested in applying can go to: www.tractorsupply.com/careers.
