ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL WOMAN, CITE THREE FOR PROHIBITED CAMPING

Roseburg Police jailed a woman and cited three people for prohibited camping on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 10:15 a.m. the group was contacted in a camp which was unlawfully set up on Central Oregon & Pacific Railroad property in the 1900 block of Southeast Mill Street.

The 43-year-old woman was later found to be in possession of methamphetamine. She was charged with first-degree criminal trespass and cited for the drug charge. Bail was set at $6,250. The three men were cited for first-degree criminal trespass, two of them were cited and released for prohibited camping. They were given until the end of the day to pack up their camp and remove it from the railroad property
