Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant early Wednesday morning.

An RPD report said just after 1:00 a.m. officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation near the intersection of Northwest Stewart Parkway and Northwest Mulholland Drive. They recognized the passenger as a 44-year-old who returned with a warrant for his arrest. The warrant was confirmed through records, and the man was taken into custody.

He was detained on $5,000 bail.
