ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR ALLEGED CRIMINAL MISCHIEF/LITTERING INCIDENT

Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged criminal mischief and littering incident on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 9:15 a.m. officers contacted the 39-year-old near the intersection of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard and Northeast Jackson Street after he was seen throwing items all over the sidewalk and into the road. Upon being taken into custody, officers saw that the suspect had made several scratches into the sidewalk.

The man was charged with second-degree criminal mischief and offensive littering. Bail was set at $2,500.
