On Tuesday, Congresswoman Val Hoyle voted to force the public release of any information that the Department of Justice has on Jeffrey Epstein and their investigation into his sex trafficking crimes. The bill also requires measures be taken to prevent the exposure of victim’s information during release.

After the vote, Hoyle said, “It is frustrating that justice has been delayed for child rape victims who were trafficked to some of the world’s richest and most powerful individuals”. Hoyle said, “Speaker Johnson and the Trump Administration have used every means possible to delay, deny, and obfuscate the facts as opposed to offering transparency and justice for the victims”.

Later on Tuesday, the legislation also passed in the Senate and is now headed to the President’s desk.
