Roseburg Police jailed two people for warrants on Monday.
An RPD report said just before 8:00 a.m. officers contacted the 36-year-old man and 33-year-old woman after they were called in for trespassing at the downtown parking garage in the 500 block of Southeast Rose Street. Officers discovered that both had warrants for their arrest. They were detained without incident and transported to corrections.
The man allegedly refused a search of his person by officers on scene. During a jail search, corrections deputies reportedly located a small baggie of suspected methamphetamine on the man’s person. He was cited for unlawful possession of methamphetamine.
Both people were detained on $500 bail and were released on Tuesday morning.
