Roseburg Police jailed a man for the alleged theft of flag decorations on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 11:30 a.m. officers contacted the 52-year-old at Roseburg High School in the 400 block of West Harvard Avenue after he was allegedly found to have taken several of the flags from the lawn in the driveway in front of the school

Upon contact, the man reportedly refused to leave the property and was taken into custody without issue. He was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree theft. Bail was set at $2,500.
