November 11, 2025 9:20 a.m.

A transient was charged with second-degree criminal trespass on Saturday.

A Sutherlin Police report said at 3:05 p.m. a resident at the community’s transient camp called and said that an 18-year-old was there even though he had already been trespassed from the property. The man was located at a nearby business. The officer checked and determined that the suspect had officially been trespassed from the property in the 700 block of Hastings Avenue on June 13th and had been previously arrested for trespassing at the same location on June 20th.

The man was taken into custody and transported to corrections. He was detained without bail and was released on Monday.
