A Roseburg man was jailed following a reported DUII incident on Sunday night.

A Sutherlin Police Department report said at 8:40 p.m. a caller said a sedan was driving around the city with the driver apparently drunk. The vehicle was seen on camera and was observed by officer’s driving recklessly. The driver, 23-year-old Noah Bean, was pulled over near the intersection of East Third Avenue and North Willamette Street. Bean reportedly had five minors in the sedan with him and showed signs of intoxication. An officer observed several alcoholic drink cans in the vehicle, as well as an open 12 pack on the floorboard of the passenger seat.

Bean was taken to corrections where he performed standard field sobriety tests. His blood alcohol level registered 0.13 percent. Officers had been notified that Mortar fireworks had been going off in the area, and Bean had spent Mortar fireworks in his car. He admitted to firing them off. Bean was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving, recklessly endangering another person, and second-degree disorderly conduct. He was detained on $25,000 bail and was released on Sunday.

The occupants were cited for being minors in possession of alcohol and were released.
