Sutherlin Police jailed a man for a reported assault incident on Tuesday evening.

An SPD report said at 10:00 p.m. officers responded to a residence in the 100 block of Bambi Lane after a caller said that there was a disturbance. Officers learned that 24-year-old Isaac Wedekind-King had reportedly grabbed a victim and broke her finger. Wedekind-King was taken into custody and transported to corrections.

The man was charged with fourth degree counts of felony assault and assault and endangering the welfare of a minor. Wedekind-King was detained without bail.
