A Wind Advisory remains in effect for much of the region from Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. Wednesday.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford said southeast winds of 25 to 35 miles per hour with gusts up to 50 miles per hour are expected.
The Advisory area includes all locations west of the Cascades in Douglas, Josephine and Jackson counties, especially all higher terrain and wind aligned valleys such as the Rogue Valley from Ashland to Medford. It also includes Roseburg, Sutherlin, Myrtle Creek, Elkton, Glendale and Grants Pass.
Forecasters said gusty winds will blow around all unsecured objects and a few power outages may result. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Motorists should use caution.
