Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged robbery at a store on Sunday.

An RPD report said at 8:25 a.m. officers contacted 45-year-old Joshua Phegley after he allegedly stole from a business in the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. During the incident, Phegley reportedly pushed his way past an employee as she attempted to prevent him from taking the items. The man allegedly left the store with a soft drink and several boxes of candy.

Phegley was charged with third-degree counts of robbery and theft, and first-degree criminal trespass. He was detained without bail.
