Roseburg Police cited a woman for offensive littering early Friday morning.

An RPD report said at approximately 12:45 a.m. officers contacted the 29-year-old at Gaddis Park in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street. While conducting a security check in the park’s pavilion, officers observed a large amount of trash and debris scattered throughout the area. The items covered approximately 75 percent of the pavilion. The woman admitted that the belongings and trash were hers and said she was in the process of cleaning the area up. Most of the trash was torn up pieces of cardboard.

The woman was cited and released and was told to clean up the items using the trash bags that officers provided her.
