A Winston man was jailed for a warrant by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday afternoon.

A DCSO report said at 2:10 p.m. a deputy was leaving corrections in the 1000 block of Southeast Douglas Avenue when he was contacted by a man who said there was a warrant for his arrest. The warrant was confirmed, and the 26-year-old was taken into custody. He was detained on $3,000 bail.
