ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL PAIR FOLLOWING ALLEGED TRESPASS INCIDENT

Roseburg Police jailed two people following an alleged trespass incident on Wednesday night.

An RPD report said at 8:40 p.m. officers responded after an employee said a man was trespassing at Fred Meyer in the 900 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. Upon arriving, officers recognized the 35-year-old who was running from the property. Officers located the man and a friend nearby.

The man was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and was detained. The woman with him, also age 35, was taken into custody due to a new warrant. Both people were detained without bail.
