Roseburg Police cited a California man for a city ordinance violation on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 7:30 a.m. while cleaning transient camps located in the bike jumps at Gaddis Park in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street, officers located a pickup parked about 40 feet off the path near the South Umpqua River.

A 65-year-old was discovered to be the driver who had parked there as he was visiting people in one of the camps. He was cited for violation of regulations relating to parks, and then drove his vehicle out of the area.
