No one was hurt in a single vehicle accident in the Lookingglass area on Tuesday night.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 9:15 p.m. a 67-year-old taxi driver from Brookings had a fare for a medical transport from Roseburg to Redding, California and back. After dropping off his fare, the man was heading home and came into the first ninety-degree corner in the 700 block of Dairy Loop Road too fast.  His sedan ran through a ditch, over a telephone box, down a driveway, through a fence and into a tree. The driver then backed up into a ditch.

The driver was given a ride to a motel in Roseburg. His vehicle was towed.
