Roseburg Police cited a man for reported theft incidents on Tuesday morning.

An RPD report said at 8:10 a.m. officers contacted the 37-year-old in the 600 block of Southeast Pine Street. He was positively identified as a suspect in two recent thefts from two stores on Northwest Stewart Parkway. During the investigation, the man admitted to committing the crimes and provided complete cooperation.

The man stated that he took a case of water and art supply’s but no longer had the items stolen as he left them behind a power transformer at a nearby business.

The man was cited for third-degree theft and then was released.
