CLERK’S OFFICE LAUNCHES NEW PROPERTY RECORDING ALERT SERVICE

October 28, 2025 3:40 a.m.

The Douglas County Clerk’s Office has announced the launch of a Property Recording Alert Service.

A county release said it is a free tool designed to help property owners monitor recording activity related to their land records. This service enhances transparency, increases security, and gives residents greater control over their property information.

PRAS provides automated, same-day email notifications when new documents are recorded under a monitored name. Each alert includes a direct link to view information about the recorded documents, making it easier to stay informed and safeguard their property records.

The Clerk’s Office encourages all residents to take a proactive role in protecting their property records by signing up for the Property Recording Alert Service.
