A Wind Advisory remains in effect through 8:00 p.m. Saturday for central Douglas County and surrounding areas.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford said southwest winds of 20 to 30 miles per hour with gusts up to 55 miles per hour are expected.

The Advisory area also includes eastern Curry County, and Josephine County.

Forecasters said gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down, and a few power outages may result. Winds this strong may make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
