Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged theft from a store on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 5:40 p.m. the 45-year-old who had previously been trespassed from the business in the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard, returned to the store and allegedly stole approximately $6 worth of candy and ice cream. He was contacted a short time later after matching a picture of the suspect that had been provided by the store manager.

The man was charged with third-degree theft and first-degree criminal trespass. Bail was set at $7,500.
