A driver was taken to the hospital following a single-vehicle crash on Wednesday afternoon.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 12:20 p.m. the 68-year-old woman was driving a pickup headed towards Winston in the 8000 block of Upper Olalla Road. The vehicle left the roadway and the driver overcorrected, striking a large boulder and causing the vehicle to cartwheel.

The woman was taken to CHI Mercy Medical Center for precautionary purposes. The driver had a suspended license with a partial reinstatement but was driving outside of her stipulations. She was cited for driving while suspended. Her vehicle was recovered by a towing company.
