Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged trespass incident late Wednesday evening.
An RPD report said just after 11:20 p.m. officers contacted the 49-year-old near the intersection of Southeast Jackson Street and Southeast Oak Avenue. Dispatch advised that the man was excluded from being in the downtown area until November 18th.
The man told officers he knew he was not supposed to be downtown, but it’s where he buys his beer. He was taken into custody without incident and charged with second-degree criminal trespass. Bail was set at $1,000.
