The driver was not injured when a vehicle launched directly into the middle of a pond at the Roseburg Country Club on Tuesday night.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 10:40 p.m. the 21-year-old woman was driving eastbound on Quail Lane, northwest of Roseburg. The driver was reportedly watching her rearview mirror instead of looking forward. The sedan crossed the 5000 block of Garden Valley Road before hitting the water. The woman was wearing her seat belt and was not injured. She was able to get out of her vehicle, prior to it submerging completely.
