Roseburg Police cited a man for prohibited camping at Stewart Park on Monday.

An RPD report said the 65-year-old had been living out of his pickup around the park area in the 1000 block of Northwest Stewart Park Drive for at least a couple of weeks. Camping is always prohibited where the man was parked.

At 3:35 p.m. he was cited and released. Adapt was dispatched to assist the man with housing resources, and he was given contacted information on homeless assistance for veterans as well.
