The Roseburg High School Marching Ensemble continued its standout season with an impressive showing at the Pride of the Northwest competition held at Mel Ingram Field at Grants Pass High School on Saturday.

An RHS release said performing their 2025 production, “Cruisin”, the ensemble placed 2nd out of 11 bands in both preliminaries and finals.

Roseburg also earned special caption awards for High General Effect and High Percussion. The show was enthusiastically received by audiences, earning standing ovations at both performances.

The band’s top score of 75.3 marks the highest score Roseburg has ever received at this event. Beyond their competitive success, the group was recognized for their positive attitude and support of other bands throughout the day.

“Cruisin” celebrates the vibrant spirit of 1960s car culture, a theme that holds special meaning for the Roseburg community. Audiences are invited to see the ensemble performances at all home football games, as well as their end-of-season Platinum Arrow Performance on November 3rd at 7:30 p.m. at Finlay Field at RHS.
