Roseburg Police jailed a Winston man on Wednesday for violation of a restraining order.

An RPD report said just after 3:30 p.m. officers contacted a victim who said the 37-year-old was calling and sending her messages, which violated the restraining order that she had against him. Officers called the suspect, who admitted to the messages.

He was later taken into custody. Bail was set at $5,000.
