Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant early Thursday.

An RPD report said at approximately 12:45 a.m. while patrolling in the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard, an officer recognized the 42-year-old near the front of a store after business hours.

The man was checked for warrants. It was discovered that he had an active warrant out of Douglas County Circuit Court. The warrant was confirmed, and the man was taken into custody without incident. Bail was set at $500.
