Roseburg Police jailed a man for a parole violation on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 7:45 a.m. officers were conducting a security check at Gaddis Park in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street when they found a 56-year-old man to be in violation of his parole. Officers contacted the man’s parole officer, and he authorized a detainer. The suspect was detained without bail.
