A driver allegedly fell asleep, leading to a single-vehicle crash on Monday afternoon.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at approximately 1:45 p.m. the 28-year-old man drove his van off the roadway in the 600 block of Willis Creek Road in Dillard area. This caused damage to approximately 40 feet of fence. The driver was not injured but was cited by DCSO. A towing company recovered the vehicle.
