Douglas County residents with unwanted TVs, computers, gaming devices and other electronics can recycle those items for free on Saturday, Oct. 18 at the Roseburg transfer station.
The Douglas County Solid Waste Department, along with St. Vincent De Paul of Lane County and Oregon E-Cycles, is offering a chance for residents and small businesses to properly dispose of electronic items.
Items can be dropped off from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Roseburg Transfer Stadion at 165 West McLain Avenue.
Acceptable items include:
- Computers
- TV’s
- Printers
- Monitors
- Keyboards & electronic Mice
- Gaming devices
- Networking devices
- Phones
- AV equipment
- Cords and chargers
Items that will not be accepted include loose batteries, hazardous waste, light bulbs, large kitchen appliances and vacuum cleaners.
