A Roseburg man was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly stealing a truck from the residence of a recently deceased male.
Roseburg Police said officers contacted a 31-year-old man in the parking lot of a business in the 2200 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway around 9 p.m. The man was allegedly inside a truck that belonged to a male that recently died.
The suspect reportedly admitted to going to the residence, taking the keys and stealing the vehicle.
The man was taken into custody and lodged at Douglas County Corrections on charges of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and first degree burglary. The truck was towed from the scene.
