Roseburg Police jailed a man for driving while suspended early Tuesday.

An RPD report said just after 2:00 a.m. officers initiated a traffic stop on a motor home for expired tags in the 2600 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. Officers contacted the 59-year-old man who was driving.

The man returned misdemeanor suspended and on probation for traffic offenses. His probation officer requested that he be jailed for the probation violation. His vehicle was legally parked and released to a friend. The man was cited for driving uninsured.
