Roseburg Police cited a man for a reported theft incident on Thursday evening.

An RPD report said at 7:00 p.m. officers contacted the 41-year-old after he allegedly stole a jacket from Fred Meyer in the 900 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. The man returned the jacket and was issued a citation for third-degree theft. He was trespassed from the store and was released on the scene.
