Roseburg Police cited a man for an alleged theft incident on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 11:30 a.m. the 41-year-old was contacted at the entrance to the duck pond in the 1000 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. He reportedly had his belongings in a shopping cart that belonged to Walmart.

The man was released after the citation was issued. The shopping cart was returned to Walmart.
