Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant on Tuesday night.

An RPD report said at 8:40 p.m. officers contacted the 44-year-old at a motel in the 1000 block of Northeast Stephens Street, because he had a warrant for his arrest. The suspect initially ran into an apartment to hide but was later taken into custody. He was detained without bail.
