A transient was charged with third-degree criminal mischief on Thursday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report was at 2:00 p.m. the 29-year-old was observed coloring on the control panel of an elevator with a marker, at the Douglas County Courthouse on Southeast Douglas Avenue. She was arrested and taken to corrections. The woman was detained without bail.
