Governor Tina Kotek recently selected two Douglas County residents to be re-appointed to serve on a state board or commission.

*Susie Steward was nominated to continue serving on the Oregon Health and Science University Board of Directors

*Elizabeth Hill was nominated to another term on the Oregon Parks and Recreation Commission

The appointments next go to the Oregon Senate for confirmation. The Senate Committee on Rules will consider the nominations during September Legislative Days. The Governor makes appointments to over 265 boards and commissions representing a broad range of areas and issues.
