Roseburg Police cited a man for prohibited camping on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 9:15 a.m. parks employees called after they located the 44-year-old camped out in the men’s restroom at the duck pond in the 1000 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. The man refused to leave. He had all his possessions out around him and was bedded down on a blanket. The man stated he was just trying to escape the rain.

He was released after the citation was issued.
