Roseburg Police cited a man for a criminal count of prohibited camping on Monday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 3:00 p.m. the 53-year-old was contacted at his camp in Gaddis Park, in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street and was alongside a creek. The man had two previous convictions for prohibited camping. The camp violated all three prongs of the time, place and manner ordinance.

Due to the size of the camp and its inaccessible location, the man was cited and released on the scene.
