Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged theft incident on Sunday.

An RPD report said at 7:00 p.m. officers contacted the 30-year-old after he allegedly stole two vapes from a business in the 200 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. The man admitted to stealing the vapes and was taken into custody without incident.

During a search, the man was reportedly found to be in possession of 0.30 grams of methamphetamine. He was taken into custody without incident and was transported to corrections. The man was charged with third-degree theft. Bail was set at $1,250. He was issued a citation for the meth.
