A transient was jailed for two counts of violation of a restraining order on Thursday.
A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said just after 1:00 p.m. a victim called dispatch and advised there had been a disturbance between him and the suspect at a residence in the 500 block of Shadow Ranch Road. A deputy learned the victim had an active restraining order on the suspect. The order showed the suspect is prohibited from having contact with two victims, and he is restrained from being at the address where the disturbance took place.
The suspect was located and admitted to being at the property and thought it was okay for him to be there. He was taken into custody without incident. Bail was set at $10,000.
