ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL WOMAN FOR REPORTED DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Roseburg Police jailed a woman for a reported disorderly conduct incident on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 10:45 a.m. officers contacted the 28-year-old after a witness allegedly saw her throw multiple baseball sized rocks onto the Interstate 5 overpasses in active traffic, near the intersection of West Harvard Avenue and West Bellows Street  The suspect reportedly attempted to leave the scene despite repeated instructions by officers to stop. The woman allegedly ignored officers when she was told she was detained and attempted to walk out into traffic.

After a brief struggle, officers took the woman into custody and transported her to corrections. She was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and recklessly endangering another person. Bail was set at $8,250.
