The Umpqua Valley should see two more days with well above normal temperatures before gradual cooling begins as a weak low-pressure system moves into the region.

Forecasters at the Natonal Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that highs should remain in the low to mid-90s through Thursday. On Friday afternoon temperatures should drop to the upper 80s. Seasonal norms are expected for the weekend with highs in the mid-80s.

Forecasters said there is a slight chance of thunderstorms in the area, but those will likely stay well east of Roseburg.

The high temperature Tuesday was 93 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport.
