Sutherlin Police jailed a man for a warrant and added additional charges during his arrest early Monday.

An SPD report said at 1:00 a.m. officers contacted 42-year-old Andrew Atterbury in the 1200 block of West Central Avenue due to the warrant. Atterbury was reportedly screaming and being violent towards others. He was taken into custody and was transported to corrections.

During a search, officers reportedly located several pipes with methamphetamine residue and burnt tin foil. Atterbury was also charged with two-counts of second-degree disorderly conduct, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, and resisting arrest.

Atterbury was detained on $4,500 bail.
