A transient was jailed for a parole violation by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday night.

A DCSO report said at 9:30 p.m. a deputy learned the woman was in the 400 block of Curtin Road in the Curtin area and was wanted by her parole officer. The deputy located the suspect who was hiding under a bed at the residence. She was placed into custody and detained without bail.
